is the Lead Pre-school Teacher
for the YWCA of Central Massachusetts in Westboro. Karla has more than 10 years of experience in
the field of early childhood and special education. She is a graduate of Worcester State College
where she earned a bachelor's degree in both History and Elementary Education. Karla is a mother
of four grown children including one set of twins. Karla strives to create a fun, stimulating
learning environment for the children in her care. According to Karla, "Every day is a teachable
moment."

Caren Ginese

was recently promoted to the position of Site Director at the YWCA of Central Massachusetts'
Childcare Center located at 15 Grove Street. Ginese attended Becker College where she received
an associate's degree in early childhood education. She is a former Lead Teacher from UMass
Memorial's Childcare Center in Worcester, and held the position of Assistant Site Director at the
YWCA's Childcare Center in Westborough since September 2001. "My goal is to provide a safe and
supportive environment where children can develop to their fullest potential," said Ginese.
"It is important to lay the foundation for a child's growth and development by enrolling her
or him in a quality childcare program that is prepared to meet the varying needs of children.
