The YWCA of the USA is a women's membership movement nourished by its
roots in the Christian faith and sustained by the richness of many beliefs
and values. Strengthened by diversity, the Association draws together members
who strive to create opportunities for women's growth, leadership and power in
order to attain a common vision: peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all
people.
The Association will thrust its collective power toward the elimination of
racism wherever it exists and by any means necessary.

From points East and West (Boston, Springfield, Hartford, CT):
Take Mass Pike I-90 to Exit 10 (Auburn). Bear left after tollbooth to get on I-290 (east).
Stay on I-290 and get off at Exit 13 (Vernon Street). Take left at the end of
the ramp. Then follow Directions "A" found below.
From points North (Fitchburg, Leominster, Lancaster):
Take I-190 to I-290 west. Take Exit 13 (Vernon Street). Take right at end of
ramp. Then follow Directions "A" found below.
From points Northeast (Lowell, Lawrence):
Take I-495 to I-290 west. Take exit 13 (Vernon Street). Take right at end of
ramp. Then follow Directions "A" found below.
From Points Southwest (Fall River, Providence, RI):
Take Rte. 146 north to Worcester. Rte 146 turns into Millbury Street. Take
I-290 west. Take first exit (Exit 13 Vernon Street). Take left at end of ramp.
Then follow Directions "A" found below.
Directions A:
Follow into Kelly Square. Take the second right onto Green Street (Hess Gas
Station on left and Bumper to Bumper Automotive store on right). Continue down
Green Street to the set of lights just past the railroad overpass. The YWCA is
across the street to your left. Take a left onto McGrath Boulevard. Take your
first right onto YWCA Way. Proceed down YWCA Way, bearing to the right until you
come to the parking lot gate. The gate will automatically open (a $1.00 token must be purchased to
exit the parking lot). If the YWCA's Parking Lot is full you may try parking at
the Municipal Lot behind the Worcester Public Library.

From Worcester:
Take Rt. 9 to Rt. 135 East (to Westborough).
Just before the rotary at Westborough Center, there is a large, brick firestation on the right.
This building is on the corner of Grove Street.
Take a right onto Grove Street.
15 Grove Street is 1/2 block down on the right.
It is an old brick school building with a large parking lot on the right of the building.
From Framingham:
Either take Rt. 9 to Rt. 135 East, and proceed as above, OR take Rt. 9 to Rt. 30 West, and head into
Westborough Center.
As you enter the rotary at the center, bear right onto Rt. 135 (Milk Street). As the road becomes
a two-way street (approximately 1/10 of a mile) a firestation and Grove Street will be on the left.
Turn left onto Grove Street.
15 Grove Street is 1/2 block down on the right.
It is an old brick school building with a large parking lot on the right of the building.
From Grafton or Rt. 122:
Rt. 122 to Rt. 140 to Rt. 30 (Westboro Road) North Grafton Center.
Follow Rt. 30 towards Westborough (Westboro Road turns into Nourse Street). Just before the center of
town, turn left onto Parkman Street, between the library and the Forbes building. This short road
ends on Grove Street directly in front of the YWCA.
Parking is in a large lot on the right of the building.

From Worcester:
Take Route 9 West into Leicester
Center. Take a left at Mike's Doughnuts onto Pine Street. Travel 3 miles on Pine
Street. At the Camp Sign take a left onto Parker Street then a right into
the circular driveway. Your tour will begin at the first cabin on the left.
